                                                “Alphas, Commandos, Rock Chicks..oh my!”

I think it’s pretty safe to say that readers have a short and long list of go-to authors who are consistent with their ability to produce quality works of..art.  And that’s what books are.  They’re art in that author’s are able to sit down and create something with such huge amounts of creativity with such profound, jaw-dropping end results.  Authors who always, and, I mean ALWAYS produce such quality stories will remain be at the top of said list for this reader, as I will predictably always go into a story knowing that it will be a stellar read. A read that contains an amazing storyline with amazing writing with even more amazing characters, an addicting plot and perfectly descriptive scenarios. I can always guarantee a great read depending upon the amount of smiling, fist pumping, and, squealing I do all within the first couple of pages.  With this new book?  *Pffft* It all started from the very beginning.  In more ways than one.  As almost like a “Who’s Who” in the world of Kristen Ashley’s Alphas, many strong, mighty no-holds-barred, say it like it is men, are about to land once again with their feisty family-centered strong women, and I could not be more pleased because, wow, this new book was such a great read..

Quiet Man, by Kristen Ashley, is an absolute spectacular representation of this author’s work as this novella successfully contains so-much-of-everything that is synonymous with this author and I find myself loving her work even more as this new release did not disappoint this reader what-so-ever.  This story has everything from mysterious angst-filled moments to heart-warming heated love and warmed dedication, to out-of-the-blue surprises, all of which are interspersed with incredibly humorous and squishy-adorable characters as well.  I found myself smiling as big as a Jack O’ Lantern and becoming antsy during questionable moments, all of which loud snort-giggling as well as even louder flat out laughter could be heard as well.  Utter magnificence..

Quiet Man, by Kristen Ashley, is also yet another display of her unique and highly-addicting style-of-writing.  Writing that contains that tougher-than-tough undertone with edges of kindness and unwavering support.  It’s that “You with me?” kind of warmed gruffness that had this reader jumping up while fist-pumping right into the air on multiple occasions throughout this read.  OH YEEEAAH!  The mysterious, heart-breaking and heart-warming storyline contained a well-written plot that was like a constantly flowing reunion of many characters from previous books.  References and cameos from The Rock Chicks, The Hot Bunch, The Commandos, The Nightingales, The Chaos Motorcycle Club, and multiple individual characters were practically oozing deliciously right off the pages that may have produced additional high-pitched squealing that may have cracked a glass or two.  Absolutely-loved-them.

I loved the main characters, Mo and Lottie, and had enjoyed reading their Fated moments of protection and love during their dark and desperate times.  Mo, a massive Norwegian mountain-of-a-man, with the heart-of-gold, who would do anything for those he loved, and Lottie, a pint-sized, feisty, dedicated burst-of-energy, make-up such a magnetic pair who many greatly adore.

As the storyline, plot, and characters of this story were clearly stellar representations of incredible storytelling by this author, they have encouraged this reader to return to previously read stories of such magnanimous Alphas and their families.  Even though there was a smattering of head-scratching moments, a small need for more development in a few areas, and..the need for the discovery of another hobby for one of the characters as the answer to many of life’s challenges is not to have sex all-of-the-time!  #Justsayin  Even with these particular areas which did stand out for this reader, as a whole, this story was collectively a fantastic one as the heart-warming storyline, gripping plot, spectacular characters, including the squishy-adorable ones, all contributed to such a great read..and, I absolutely loved it..:)
