My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Bad Boy Blues (ARC) was graciously provided to me by Give Me Books PR for an honest review. I have voluntarily read this book and have provided my honest opinion.

                                                                A Top 2019 Read

An absolutely mind-blowing, multi-layered, deeply-emotional read has just brought this reader to her knees as the sheer excellence of this new read is profoundly one-of-the-best and has left this reader bowing down to such an author, as a feat such as this is rare and for this has left a need for more from this author.

Bad Boy Blues, by Saffron A. Kent, is quite possibly one of the top books read in 2019.  The amount of deeply interconnected, realistic, and highly-emotional moments have left me in a heightened state of utter amazement, as the writing had this humanistic ability to draw me in to such a heart-breaking read, and has left me stunned at how it all was successfully combined with such utter beauty as well.

Bad Boy Blues was unlike anything I have ever read.  Its storyline is an emotional yet beautiful one, with a plot with plentiful difficult-to-read moments interspersed with gorgeous and deeply rooted symbolism as well, with characters who drew a universe of emotions out of me as I read.

Gah..there are so many reasons why I loved this story like crazy.. Its gripping, heart-breaking, highly-emotional, electrifyingly erotic, as well as other worldly kind of heart-warming moments, that had me either attempting to reach out and grab and protect individuals, numb with shock, bawling, or, needing to squeeze hug someone(s) continuously. The writing was incredible as it enabled me to be thoroughly immersed within the depth and overall beauty of the storyline, with all of the deeply moving and extremely realistic moments. The characters were plentiful and written perfectly, as each of them were their own entities as each of them had a strong and necessary purpose within the story.

Bad Boy Blues, by Saffron A. Kent, is one of those books that surprised the heck out of me as I really began reading without having any kind of premonition of what I was in for, and..wow..was I blown away.  For this, I highly-recommend this book as I absolutely loved it..:)
