Rules of the Game by TL Travis
Rules of the Game (Arc) was graciously provided to me by the author for an honest review. I have voluntarily read this book and have provided my honest opinion.
“A Sizzling and Heart-Warming Read”
An absolutely sizzling, sexy, adorable, intriguing, heart-warming read of two professionally dedicated beautiful young men as they discover, through a heavy cloud of electrifying chemistry, that the original purpose of meeting was so much more than what either had originally had predicted..
Wow..what an incredibly fast-moving, heat-filled, and inquisitive type-of-read about Kendall a lawyer and Joe an architect, as they quickly discover the existence of an unquestionably strong invisible pull that seems to have a mind of its own as they attempt to professionally complete an important work related project and ignore this persistent draw towards the another. In doing so, attempt to extinguish this internal flame through a one-time meeting but..low and behold..that’s not what happens at all..
Rules of the Game, by TL Travis, is one of those reads that is undeniably one of those delectable go-to moments that will have readers grasping for more. With its stunningly beautiful characters, an out-of-this-world heat-factor, an exciting storyline, and, a gripping developing plot, readers will not be able to put down this new read. As a returning reader for this author, I knew I was in for a treat when I began this interesting story..and..sizzle sizzle sizzle..omgee..my kindle was smokin’ as I read..
I loved this story! With its addicting characters and a glued-to-my-kindle type of storyline, it has the makings of quite the read. With the weight of a short-story, along with snippets of bdsm inclusion amongst chapters containing the light beginnings of an even greater plot and a promising storyline, I have high hopes for a fantastic story. While there seems to be a need for more depth and development, and further editing as there were some discrepancies to the plot, and, as well as a somewhat abrupt ending, there is still so much to it that is extremely enjoyable.
That all being said, I really liked Rules of the Game, and, with the existence of such a great storyline, and an addicting plot, one can’t help but soak in its potential greatness as the beginnings of a super story has me eagerly hoping for more to come..:)

Daddy Me (Arc) was graciously provided to me by Give Me Books PR for an honest review. I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book and have provided my honest opinion.
“A New Heart-Warming and Sexy Daddy/lg Read..”
I’ve always looooved stories which contain a daddy/lg trope and find that most of them always have me in such a gushy mess after reading because they ultimately have such an underlying beautiful theme and this upcoming release proved to be no different. It’s storyline, characters, and plot melded into a gripping story of love, dedication, and, sacrifice. Despite it being a novella, its contents proved to be one hefty combination for such a satisfyingly great read..
Daddy Me, by Ker Dukey and K Webster is a heart-breaking, sizzling, gripping, heart-warming, uplifting, and, humorous read of an indirectly dominant, successful and protective man and a talented, needy young woman as they discover their prospective need for the other in very similar yet very different ways. An almost insta kind of connection enables the success of many, as Ronan, a strong, kind, and nurturing young man finds it upon himself to extend his proverbial wing enabling many to be guided down their own righteous paths toward their own form of happiness.
Wow..Daddy Me was such a great read! I loved the storyline, all of the characters, and, found the plot to be one of those that had more than the typical controlling and dominating aspect as it also contained a highly influential form of protecting, guiding, and, an overall sense of kindness, with..a whole lot of heat and kinkiness thrown into it all as well.
It doesn’t come often that I come across daddy-esque types-of-stories with that added ingrained need for nurturing and support, with sexy, chemistry-laden, testosterone-filled, inked, manly-men and so when I do…I’m all in. *Pfft* I’m so all in. Even though there were some aspects of the story that, in this reader’s opinion, were either a bit confusing or in need of a bit more depth and development, and there seems to be a few typos, I really liked it and recommend it for all who enjoy a good daddy read..I really liked it 🙂

BLURB:
I have three superstitions I live by:
1. No dating all season.
2. Don’t jinx a no-hitter while one’s in progress.
3. Be cold-hearted. If you find something you think about more than
baseball, destroy it.
Calliope Thomas is one of those things. Ever since she left a bad review on
the Max Energy Drink I endorse, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about
her. Obviously, when she said she hoped I had a losing season, I had to
meet her and get her to take the words back.
Now, she’s making me do insane things. Like, obsess over the color of her
panties or if I can make her blush. Read superstition one—I don’t do this
sort of thing.
I play ball, not chase after a woman I barely know.
But, I am, and she wants nothing to do with me.
She thinks I’m the devil.
And I have to say she makes me want to sin.
I’m becoming a borderline stalker.
And to make matters worse she’s affecting my game.
I can’t pitch.
I can’t hit.
I can’t focus.
Something needs to give, and it won’t be me.

Cold Hearted Baller by Logan Chance
Cold Hearted Baller (Arc) was graciously provided to me by the author for an honest review. I have voluntarily read this book and have provided my honest opinion.
“A Sexy, Humorous, and, Heart-Warming Read”
An absolutely hysterical, heart-warming, and, exciting new read has me enjoying continued giggle-fits even after the completion of my most recent read. A read similar to the likes of T.J. Klune and Alice Clayton, this particular book had me grin-giggling at the very first line of the very first page. Since there were plentiful moments of grin-giggling, snickering, and even snort-laughing throughout this read, I was over-the-moon with the added tender moments which were such a perfect addition to this great read.
Cold Hearted Baller, by Logan Chance, writing as Logan, is a baseball infused story with so many laugh-out-loud moments, incredibly hot, sizzling chemistry-laden scenes, and super secondary characters that were such fantastic components to this story. I freakin’ loved the writing style of this story as it had such a natural tone to it that enabled such a smoothness to the read that had this reader greatly enjoying this new story. I loved the slowly-moving underlying theme of love and that quest of a happily-ever-after with its incorporation of Greek Mythology as well as through that general emotional pull of stories as a whole.
I really liked Cold Hearted Baller! There were so many things I really liked about this story. The humor, the inexplicable connection, the bantering, the steamy sexiness, and the surprising curve-ball which had been thrown right into the path of these two individuals when they had least expected but greatly needed it, all of which made this a great read.
Even though there were so many components to this story that I had really liked, there were also questionable moments as well. The most important one being even though it was lightly included, was the existence of a possible trigger for readers. This was a surprise to come across as it had not been evident as part of the blurb. It is also in this reader’s opinion that there is a need for additional editing as there exists a need for a more well-rounded plot with further depth and development, as well as a fixing of the smattering of typos which do exist.
Cold Hearted Baller, by Logan, as a whole, was such a good story, and, I wish there was more baseball, more baking and more of their antics and as well as more of an actual relationship as the story already contains so many beautiful and enticing moments that I had wished that there were more moments like these..:)

Zed by M.V. Ellis
Zed (Rough Ink, #1) (ARC) was graciously provided to me by Hot Tree Promotions for an honest review. I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book and have provided my honest opinion.
“An emotionally powerful and gripping read”
An absolutely heart-breaking, gut-wrenching, life-altering, emotionally-desperate kind-of-story, a story about love, devotion, sacrifice, and, redemption in the face of such a profound and immense tragedy, one that affects the lives of numerous individuals in more ways than one. The story was massive in its deeply-rooted grief, heartache and reasoned pain of understandably such a devastation that had this reader soaking in all of the emotions as they poured right off of the pages throughout this addicting read. It was a story that had this reader desperate to provide such an enveloped sense of nurturing for such pain and need. It was quite the read.
Zed, by M.V. Ellis, was a lengthy, and, nail-biting read with suspenseful and gripping moments, greatly developed characters, realistic settings and a detailed plot. Its storyline is one that seemed to have humanistic qualities in being able to entice and grab a hold of this reader through the unfolding of the story. The plot, despite having a somewhat slower pace, was filled with meaningful moments that sucked a roller-coaster ride of emotions right out of this reader as I sat and read my way through this story. With its varied abilities of enticement, an almost languid sense of understanding and comfort was had by this reader right up until…BAMMM! Hello twist of all twists. Yes, prior to this moment in which I had proceeded to sit mouth-agape with eyes glued to the pages, a moment that may have produced a high-pitched scream, I had been quite comfortable with this languid state, to an extent, and for this began to develop various theories, anticipatory premonitions if you will, but then, then…*pfft* I was totally wrong..WRONG! I-never-saw-it-coming. It was this moment that was the most amazing, and, emotional moment that had this reader bawling buckets of tears. The moment was priceless..
Gah..how I loved Zed! As one of the main characters, I thought he was one of the best alpha males I have ever read. He had this no holds barred mentality with such a delicate, tortured, and needy undertone that had me grasping desperately at my kindle as I read his story. I cheered and fist pumped right into the air for him..and, I also bawled like a baby for his pain. Octavia, the second main character, was a slightly different kind of entity. Meaning well, she came into Zed’s life like a bull with intentions of improving Zed’s life but also for improving society as well. While she had the bull-like tenacity, she also actually learned from her mistakes, which I found to be a breath of fresh air that, as it is also in this reader’s opinion, was quite the rare quality to have for a character in stories.
As mentioned briefly, there were plentiful secondary characters, who I LOVED, many of which had already developing story lines within this particular story, and, the others were already primed for future stories within this series. And..there were also a select few who just got on my last nerve, therefore, a whole lot of patience was involved with their development as their overall purpose to the storyline was..necessary and beautiful.
I loved the writing of this new-to-me author, as there were clearly many different types of thoughts and emotions as a result of this read. Moments of intensity paved the way for realistic bantering interspersed with delicate humor that brought a needed levity into such a heavy topic, all which enabled various thoughts to come to fruition. In addition, the descriptive undertone of the necessary outlet for one of the characters, was developed perfectly. I loved how the tattoo business was described which enabled the reader to envision the actual beauty of such a talent by all of the artists.
That all being said, however..with its lengthy and somewhat slower pace, I really needed more development in various areas and less in others. Unless some of the areas will be addressed further in future books, I also felt some of the major areas were either glanced over or touched upon briefly in the epilogue. Speaking for this reader, I needed to read about all of the developed characters and their placement within the storyline, including events, in order to have a sense of closure for them and the story. Despite a rushed sense of an ending, a smattering of typos, some confusing moments, and a need for more depth and development, in various areas, it was still such a great story that I highly-recommend for all to read. I really enjoyed it.. 🙂

I’m just a girl who likes to daydream and sometimes I write them down to share. Growing up, the literary world was my safe haven. A wonderful place of fantasy beyond the bounds of reality. As an adult, I put that behind me to practice medicine. My husband and I owned our own practice, had two children, and lived a somewhat normal life. Fate had other plans. In the span of a year, we sold our practice, bought a 96 acre farm in the hills of West Virginia, and adopted 3 of our patients (ages 1,3, and4). It has been an adventure of ups and downs and learning to laugh at ourselves. Yet, somewhere in the midst of kids, chickens, and toothpaste covered dogs, I began to write again. My late night / early morning escape lets me dream beyond all limits. I hope that you will enjoy the journey of the stories as much as I have writing them.●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●
Omega in the Middle by Braylon Black
Omega in the Middle (Arc) was graciously provided to me by the author for an honest review. I have read this book and have provided my honest opinion.
“A Heart-Warming, Hopeful, and Addicting Read”
SQUEEE! OMG! I am floating on air! I feel like I have this permanent smile on my face that has me all squishy-feeling as a result of my most recent read which I loooooved. This book has so many adorable, heart-warming, beautiful, heat-filled, giggle-worthy, angsty moments that had me glowing from the very first page. I could not get enough of this book from a predictably great new series!
Omega in the Middle, by Braylon Black, was an absolutely wonderful read with an excellent storyline, fabulous characters, and, a great plot. Wow..this story was one of those that I melted right into as it contained so many things, and more, that makes a great read from this particular genre. Strong, dedicated, and, unbelievably adorable omegas, hard-working, sexy, loving and protective alphas, and, a deeply moving emotional plot were just some of the aspects of this story that had me glued to my kindle as I read.
Omega in the Middle is a somewhat different type of read from the Mpreg genre but no less addicting. It follows the journey of Charlie, Gavin, and, Luca as they discover through many surprising, emotional, and incredible moments, they are right where they are supposed to be, and for this, embrace these varied moments of clarity as they continue down such a wonderfully golden walkway of love, dedication, and, gratitude. Gah..I am so sugary tickled pink to have read this story and don’t think I have been in need to squeeze-hug characters as much as I had through this read. So..gah..yes please!
My ultimate literary weakness consists of books containing alphas, omegas, and a deeply satisfying and realistic storyline. As there are so many things that I liked about this story, I have found exactly that. I simply adored the characters, its storyline of strengthened goodness, and its angsty hopeful moments as well.
As this was, clearly, a great story, there were also moments, including a possible trigger moment, that had me scratching my head out of confusion, and for this, found there to be a need for another round through the editing process as these parts do not seem to be as smooth as the rest. In addition, without sounding greedy..I need more of this story! There was so much there already and I still needed more depth and development and actually needed to read what had been skipped over during the time jumps as they were important parts of the storyline.
All in all, Omega in the Middle, by Braylon Black was such an enjoyable read and will definitely be re-read sometime in the near future as the characters were just stellar, and the storyline was one in which had me in an almost constant state of puddled goo all warmly glowing all dreamy Luxen-like as it contained that perfect combination of addicting characters and gripping storyline that will have me coming back for more for not only this author but also for this series as I really had liked this read..:)
