Wolff by J.J. Harper
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Wolff (Redemption #1) was graciously provided to me by the author for an honest review. I have voluntarily read this book and have provided my honest opinion.
A Touching and Gripping Love Story..
A touching, sexy, and intriguing story that managed to keep a hold of me, as the existence of greatly distinct characters and a developing gripping and heartbreaking storyline lead the way to a promising series, that despite the existence of a need for more editing, it’s promise was paramount. I already love the main characters, Wolff and Gage and look forward to more of their cleansing story. With equaled yummy secondary characters, and the added various settings, this storyline has the makings of a great one as many of the necessary components of an addicting read have already presented themselves for this reader.
Even though there was that need for more editing, as a result of numerous confusing moments as the writing appeared to be choppy and yet wordy as well as a bit inconsistent. As there was also still a need for more depth and development to the main plot, considering the sub-plot has such a triggered heavy theme, the brevity of it was also a bit unrealistic for its after-affects to be partially glanced over. For this reason, it is in this readers opinion that the complete cleansing of such a trauma would be beneficial to be further explored.
That all being said, however, I loved all of the characters with their beautiful and sweet bond and felt that the storyline is such a great one, and despite these glitches, have no doubt that this series will be a very good one. I loved it..:)
