Jaxson’s Nemesis by T.L. Travis
“An enemies-to-lovers, heartbreaking, heartwarming, sizzling rockstar story”
Jaxson’s Nemesis, by TL Travis, is an exciting enemies-to-lovers, angsty, sizzling, humorous, heartwarming story that I really enjoyed. The story sets off immediately with an already in place neighbor war of the senses. One that sets the stage for shock and heartbreak. Both of which pave the way for change and strong willed redemption.
WHOOP! WHOOP! The third story from the Maiden Voyage Series certainly packs a punch from emotionally heartbreaking moments to heated after affects of years of emotional suppression and the disturbance of a firmly placed wall, which serves as protection for a damaged and fragile heart. This story is about two men who put their differences aside as a result of an electrical attraction that neither was able to deny. One that unbeknownst to them, will help heal, mend, and guide both men to what both have been looking for for a very long time.
I continue to love the characters from this series, as well as the others from various interconnected ones, as their dedication, humor, and bantering make this story quite the addicting read.
Despite the existence of a lot of inner monologue, which does hide an important trigger, a need for more character development and story depth, in general as well as due to an abrupt ending, and a general need for more editing due to various typos, Jaxson’s Nemesis, was a super great story. A story filled with down-to-earth rockers, beautiful music, and, deeply heartwarming and healing moments, ones that have this reader excited for more as I really liked it! 🙂
