Everything He Wants by Sarah Hadley Brook

Everything He Wants (The Men of Wesley Lake Book 2) (ARC) was graciously provided to me by the author for an honest review.
“The Love of a Soulmate..”
Wow. I just read one of the most beautifully touching and heart-felt stories about finding that one person, that one single person, who manages to steal your breath and also your heart, when you least expect it, and, both at the same time. A story about somehow sensing exactly who someone is, that he somehow is, quite possibly, the answer to one’s hopes and dreams. Once stumbling into this, while still not knowing what to do, and, despite being uncertain and nervous, taking that leap, being lead by one’s heart, and, with abated breath cautiously migrating towards that one person, who having just discovered, was the answer to all of your dreams.. WOW. What an incredible story I just had the absolute pleasure in reading. I’m stunned at it’s inner beauty.
Having recently read, A Love to Remember by Sarah Hadley Brook, and, loving it, when I had discovered it’s sequel, Everything He Wants, had been written, I ran, yes, I actually ran, to read this much anticipated read. And, holy wow, I was not disappointed.
When I read the previous book, I immediately fell in love with Marc, one of the secondary characters, the absolutely beautiful young man, in every way possible, who wore his heart right out on his sleeve. As he attempted to make his way through love and life, he did his best as he sought out that perfect man who would be able to sate his wants, his desires, his heart…and his…everything. It broke my heart when he fell throughout his journey, but, was so incredibly glad that he had his best friend, Graham, to comfort and help him through his sadness in his attempt at locating that one man. But, even so, it still broke my heart each time he fell.
Everything He Wants is a perfectly written novella about Marc, and with the help from Graham and his partner Sam, who are wonderfully supportive and loving characters from the previous book, continues to listen to his heart and now his mind as he attempts to find true love. This story, while a novella, in my opinion, was perfectly written. I loved the highly descriptive writing, as it allowed me that strong continued connection with Marc, and with the added heart-breaking undertone of one’s past insecurities, that frequently had risen to the surface, thereby attempting to curtail any chance of finding the answers to his hopes and desires, had me loving him even more. As Marc learned to rise above most of his insecurities, as a result of his developed strength through friends, and, family, and by being able to grow to love who he truly was, enabled him to actually see who was actually right in front of him. I loved how he came across that one beautifully warm, attentive, and loving man. The one man who he had been looking for, and certainly, vice versa. His name was Aiden. I sat with tears running down my face, and, continued to hope, all the while sitting on the edge of my seat, as both men discovered the indispensable need for the other, as it was all so very beautiful and so very touching.
Despite it being a novella, I still found it to be a completed and well-rounded story, with a totally engaging plot, that I absolutely loved, with a pace set with enough background and angst to be just about right. That added heart-break, those incredibly electrifying connections, and that ultimate breathtaking moment, all had me a blubbering mess, as I had continued to wish for the best for these two amazing men. I was pulled into this sweet yet gripping story about destiny, love and having one’s wishes and desires met, and as a result, being able to allow one’s heart and entire being feel absolutely..free. I loved that moment of clarity for not only Marc but also for Aiden. And, for them both. I absolutely loved the mc’s, Marc and Aiden, and for them both to be able to find that one person who could fill their hearts and be able to complete them..forever..was…stunning. I absolutely loved it. 🙂
