Encore, an all-new sexy and emotional M/M love story from Ruth Clampett is coming LIVE!
Encore by Ruth Clampett
Publication Date: August 17th, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance
When shy programmer, Charlie, is dragged to a Hollywood male revue by his co-workers, the last thing he expects is to be pulled onstage. But when he’s approached by Ramon, a dancer whose only focus is to bring him pleasure, something awakens in Charlie that can’t be denied.
Heated attraction only goes so far when one man dreams of true love and a life finally fulfilled, and the other is still grieving the one he lost, and the mistake that cost him everything.
Can a realist and a dreamer from two different worlds move forward and build a future together, or will their painful pasts keep them from fulfilling their destiny?

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Encore (ARC) was graciously provided to me by Social Butterfly PR for an honest review.
“Through Fated Love and Dreams..”
As I sit here trying to wrap my head around the magnificence of the book that I have just read, I’ve come to the realization that I don’t think there exits sufficient words to adequately describe just how incredible this book was. I will say with utmost certainty that this book is now one of my Top Books Read in 2017. It was an amazing read filled with absolutely gripping and heart-stopping moments, interspersed with breathtaking, and wonderfully loving moments, that as a result, I now believe that I will either need to take up Yoga or something because my emotions are all over the place. And, my fluids? *pfft* I will need to replenish them soon because I am in serious danger of dehydrating.
I just read, Encore, by Ruth Clampett, and, I already need to read it again. Like right now. The beautifully written and sculpted words are still rolling around in my head and yet I still need to re-read it immediately. I am shocked that I’ve come across a book that has had this kind of affect on me, that has simultaneously caused me to kick myself in the butt because I had originally passed on this book. And, I have no idea why. For no real reason. It must have been for reasons other than by being too busy, and so, I am assuming I did because the world was ending, or, there must have been some catastrophic event, because there is no way that I should have, nor, would have, passed on such a book, having had truly known about it beforehand. Because it is just that EPIC.
I am going to say right now, that, this was a five-star read. And, I don’t really give out a whole lot of five-stars, but, this is, without a doubt, one of my rare five-star reads. I seriously wonder if I can go back in time, and, re-read it as if it was the first time? Well, since that’s not really possible, I’m just going to continue to sit here in it’s after-glow.
Encore is a story about dreams. It’s a story about trying to achieve those dreams, while at the same time, clawing through the lowest depths of pain, as a result of mind-numbing loss, while dedicating oneself to the happiness of others, while somehow reaching out toward one’s own destiny. It was an absolutely incredible and beautiful story. It was stunning. I welcomed all of the feels that came towards me as the story progressed. I absolutely love it. LOVED IT.
Encore is a story about Charlie Morgan and Ramon Diaz. Two broken young men, who despite being completely different, find themselves trying to achieve their dreams and their ultimate peace. Charlie, a quiet, self-imposed closeted, brilliant computer programmer and businessman, finds himself awkwardly meeting Ramon, an intelligent and focused erotic dancer and up and coming club owner, in the most unique and most startling way..
As both men, try to fight the incredible and undeniable magnetic pull that Fate seems to have created for them, for reasons which will ultimately be presented, both men, realize they need to adhere to this pull for reasons other than selfish ones. This story has it all. It has such heart-breaking moments, nail-biting suspense, powerful love, and such hot chemistry as well. I found myself eagerly turning the pages, bawling my eyes out, and oddly laughing, and yes, there was snorting involved. *giggling*
Those secondary characters? Loved them! With the smooth pace of the plot, I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat while tearing up as I witnessed the happiness that they had achieved. They were written in such a great and realistic way. It was that good. *sniff*
Even though…there were some typos..here and there..and, I wish I had more of a complete description of all of the characters..and, even though I had wished for there to be a tad bit more written for some of the secondary characters..you know what? Due to the overall incredible, I-am-now-bowing-to-this-author, style of writing, I really didn’t mind this. The overall magnitude of this book completely overrode any of this in the end.
I cannot emphasize enough how great this book was. I adored it so much. I swooned, I melted, I cried, I cheered, I laughed, I was in awe…I was so incredibly exultant for Charlie and Ramon, as well as so warmly happy for most of the other characters. And…so sad, and, yet filled with so much belief and so much hope for others.. I need to read Encore again, soo..I’m going to do that right now. Soo..bye. 🙂
