“A Heartwarming, Humorous, and Exciting Story”
Top Priority, by Cara Dee, the first book of The Game Series, was an actual introduction to this interesting series. It’s storyline of two similar but very different individuals coming together and making their unique but very dedicated relationship work, was beautiful and heartwarming. I really liked the main characters, Luke and Colt, a marketing expert and a fighter pilot, as their immediate attraction and bantering was priceless and the humorous and sizzling moments were equally spot on as well.
While this particular story is to be considered as an introduction to the series, it is in this reader’s opinion that there is a need for more depth and development to the main plot, with a stronger purpose for the secondary characters. The current plot is a bit confusing with the beginnings of such a great one with an added mixed sort of direction towards it’s lengthy end.
Top Priority was such a great story with so much potential. I really liked the humorous, heartwarming and yet slightly gripping storyline with such wonderful characters. This romance was one that has so much juice to be an even a greater one, all with a dedicated young man and an equally attentive fighter pilot with strong and welcoming secondary characters as well.. I really liked it 🙂

I want my men and women to be relatable. That means allowing room for everyday problems and, for lack of a better word, flaws. My characters will never be perfect.
