Forbidden Omega: A Non-Shifter Omegaverse M/M Mpreg Romance (Road To Forgiveness) (ARC) was graciously provided to me by the author for an honest review.
“Live Through Love….”
Having recently completed my most recent read of the most incredibly amazing, gut-wrenching, and, heart-warming story I have ever read, I have come to realize that it has become one of my most favorite reads. As I have read multiple books from the same author, having read Secret Baby Omega, and, Single Dad Omega, from the Road to Forgiveness Series, I will say that this particular book is the best one yet.
The Forbidden Omega, by Alice Shaw has absolutely beyond realistic moments of clarity, as well as moments of heart-breaking realization of various aspects besides those of which emanate from this book. It’s storyline is brilliant with its two main characters who seem to have such emotions that have the ability to lovingly reach right through to the reader and allow them the absolute soaking of all of their emotions with them as well. It is a story about survival, about loving oneself while living the best life possible with loved ones through copious amounts of love, devotion, and strength. I have yet to fully be able to enunciate the true affects that these characters have had upon me, as their absolute love has this unique and very welcomed affect upon this reader. I found myself, without a doubt, unable to put this story down, as the pages had melded into one as their story began to take shape, as it took me down such a long and winding road, that actually didn’t seem to have an end in sight. But, when it had been reached, I had to sit back and think about its affects as well as the actual destination itself as it was that powerful.
As I had continued my quest for that ultimate and loving inner peace with the characters, I had begun to see the development of a loosely-developed sub-plot as well. Taking me through a story with such poignant yet massively effective points was, at times, a bit difficult to wrap this readers mind around, as there were many different things going on all at the same time. This story is heavily laden with moments of a brutal life that which had the strained focus on love, that had this reader desperately trying to read through to the needed heart-warming moments. I absolutely adored the main characters, Cole and Piper, and, had fallen heavily into their love and devotion for one another, as it was clearly written in the stars for them to have the most beautiful and loving form of bond that there had ever existed.
As though thoroughly and highly praising the storyline wasn’t enough, it needs to be said once again, that, the storyline was phenomenal. It was perfect. That being said, however, as the original plot, having been as equally as stated as valid, thereby allowing the reader to become heavily invested within the trials and tribulations of the characters, had begun to take shape, other components of the writing could have used some work as there were various glitches to the overall layout, various inconsistencies, as well as other minor stutter-steps to the overall writing.
As whole, The Forbidden Omega by Alice Shaw was brilliant. It’s storyline was one in which should be soaked in by the masses, as it would be a beneficial one to be able to live a most loving and peaceful life for all of those involved. I loved it immensely..:)
